MMS

Master of Management Studies (MMS/MBA) is a two-year full time Post Graduate Management Program of the University of Mumbai. We, at Sterling Institute of Management Studies, offer specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Operations & Information Technology. In final semester of the program, students have to work on live project in industry. Assessment of some subjects is internal (by Institute) and remaining by the University of Mumbai.

Intake: 120 students per year

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian University with a minimum of 50% (in the case of Backward Class, 45% domiciled in Maharashtra only) aggregate marks.
• Entrance Examination like MAH-CET, CAT, ATMA, GMAT, etc.with a non-zero score.

Admission Procedure

• The process is regulated by the Government of Maharashtra. Admissions are made on merit basis by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), further details are available on http://dtemaharashtra.gov.in/mbacet2018/.

Fees

• The Tuition Fees for MMS/MBA program for the Academic Year 2018-19 is Rs. 1,09,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Nine Thousand only) per annum as finalized by Fee Regulatory Authority (FRA), a Body of Government of Maharashtra. In addition to the above fees, students would be liable to pay all other fees charged by the University of Mumbai. If new fees structure is introduced and any increase is proposed by FRA, students will have to pay fees difference over and above existing fees paid. Apart from the Academic Fees, the students have to pay Semester Examinations Fee.

MCA

Master in Computer Applications (MCA) is a three-year full time Post Graduate Program of the University of Mumbai, delivered in six semesters. The MCA program is designed to give students a comprehensive training in the design and use of computer applications in the world of Information Technology.

Along with detailed study of Computer Applications, the MCA program also includes training in subjects like Soft Skills, Aptitude Training and Nature of Planning. Training on latest technologies is imparted to the students to make them accept the challenges in the IT sector.

Intake: 60 students per year

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities and having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or higher level examinationwith minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only).
• Entrance Examination MAH-CET with a non-zero score.
