NCRD's Technical Review is an annual peer-reviewed e-Journal of Information Technology and Computer Science. It is published by NCRD's Sterling Institute of Management Studies, Nerul, Navi Mumbai India.

 

Information Technology has undergone a significant evolution over the past decades. Storage devices are becoming smaller and have higher capacities. Processors are becoming very small and more powerful making computing devices tiny. Today life cannot be imagined without computers. The unprecedented use of Information Technology and communication network in our personal and professional life has given rise to newer products and services. Indeed, today technology has transformed everything.

 

This peer-reviewed e-journal aims to disseminate information based on applications in various segments of Information Technology like Software Engineering, Software Project Management, Cloud Computing, Green Computing, E-Commerce & Business Applications, Knowledge Management, Networking & Communication Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Data Warehousing & Mining, Information Security, Parallel & Distributed Computing and Digital Image Processing etc.

 

This journal is an endeavor to encourage academicians, professionals, and students to undertake experiments and the creation of newer Information Technology Models / Processes relevant for organizations and societies at large. It will also strengthen the teaching and learning process. The NTR e-Journal welcomes publications of high-quality research papers on practical applications in the field of Information Technology and Computer Science. It aims to publish work which is programmatic, rigorously designed and analyzed.

Guideline for Submission of Manuscript

  • The paper should be typed in MS Word in a single space.
  • An abstract should not be more than 250 words with name, address, email and affiliation(s) of the author(s).
  • Manuscripts should be of up to 5,000 – 6,000 words (A-4 size pages, main body font 12pt, single line spacing with style single line spacing with left and right margin justified.
  • Tables and figures should appear in the document near/ after where they are referenced in the text.
  • Citation and references should be as per the Harvard System. Reference list in alphabetical order of author's surnames, and chronologically for each author where more than one work by that author is cited. The author's surname is placed first, followed by initials, and then the year of publication is given followed by details of the publication. The name of the publication (usually a book or journal) appears in italics. The following examples will illustrate the style used in the journal.

  • Tables/ annexure should be given after references
  • Papers are accepted for publication on the understanding that these contain original unpublished work, not submitted for publication anywhere else.
  • Selected paper for publication may be edited by the editorial board if required
  • The editorial decision regarding the acceptance of an article/research paper for publishing will be communicated within 30 days. The decision of the board shall be final and binding on the authors.
